Swaraj Abhiyaan leaders criticise AAP government's Lokpal Bill and term it as a big joke

Swaraj Abhiyaan leaders Prashant Bhushan and Shanti Bhushan have criticised the AAP government's Lokpal Bill and termed it as a big joke. Talking to media in Noida, Prashant Bhushan said the proposed watchdog will not be independent and will be kept under government. <br/><br/>He described the proposed bill a bigger joke than the Centre's Lokpal. He also demanded Mr Kejriwal's resignation saying he had come to power on the promise of providing a strong and independent anti-corruption watchdog but he failed.<br/><br/>The Delhi government has extended the ongoing winter session of the state Assembly by a week to enable passage of the bill.
