Ministry of Culture and its 43 organisations are organizing various activities under Swachhta Pakhwada and Swachhta Hi Seva Abhiyaan to create mass awareness in the society. <br/><br/>They have undertaken multifarious activities like Shramdan by staff, seminars, competitions, nukkad natak and painting exhibitions to spread the message of Swachh Bharat Mission widely. <br/><br/>North Central Zone Cultural Centre, Allahabad organized poster competition for children for giving message of cleanliness while Sangeet Natak Academy organised Vimal Pravah Yatra. <br/><br/>The staff of the regional centre of Anthropological Survey of India cleaned the approach road of the office premises located in Port Blair. <br/><br/>Delhi Public Library, North East Zone Cultural Centre, Dimapur, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies, Kolkata also undertook the Swachhata drive.<br/><br/>Free Residential Home for Blind and Visually Impaired Children – Premasree – participated in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan campaign organised by Central Reference Library, Kolkata. Regional Science Centres under the National Council of Science Museums organised hand wash and other swachhta activities for the students. <br/><br/>Sahitya Akademi participated in the pakhwada by organising tree plantation programme today in Ravindra Bhavan Campus, New Delhi. <br/><br/>In this series Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sanghralaya organised a marathon walk, which commenced from museum and concluded at Boat Club. The participants collected the garbage spread on the route and disposed it properly.
