Swachhata Pakhwadas will be held in all Gram Panchayats across the country to encourage people to take up issues for the development of their villages. <br/>Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Narendra Singh Tomar told reporters in New Delhi today that Gram Samridhi and Swachhata Pakhwada will be organised from 1st to 15th of next month. <br/>He said major objective of the fortnight is to encourage villagers to participate in Gram Sabha meetings for the sake of development. The Minister said, Swachhata Pakhwadas aims to promote cleanliness and generate community interaction on economic activities and development.
