Swachh Bharat Abhiyan: DPS student takes up Bagit challenge for a clean India

Inspired by the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a student of Indirapuram area in Ghaziabad proved that Indian children can indeed become society's change agents for a clean India. <br/><br/>Akshat Prakash, student of DPS Indirapuram, has launched an initiative Bagit challenge to involve schools in the national mission towards cleanliness. <br/><br/>Akshat said, the aim of the initiative is to mobilise a chain of participating schools, all driven by a common objective of making our communities cleaner, healthier and safer. <br/><br/>School Principal Meeta Rai said, she endorsed the idea and extended school support by providing infrastructure including transport and equipment for cleaning. Akshat's teacher Sangeeta Ajele said, he is a brilliant student of and influenced his classmate to take part in the cleanliness drive. <br/><br/>Akshat's colleague, Ayush, who also took part in the Bagit drive told AIR that initiative encouraged other schools as well as society. Father of Akshat, Avneesh said after seeing rising pollution in Hindon River, his son decided to fight against the menace of pollution.
