The Southwest monsoon today hit the national capital this afternoon.

The monsoon which normally arrives on 29th of June reached the city after a delay of four days.

MeT Department Director BP Yadav told AIR that the monsoon has now set in over Delhi, Punjab and Haryana.

He said, it will cover some more parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh in the next 48 hours.
