<span style="color: #222222;">Haryana Joint Chief Electoral Officer Dr. Inder Jeet said that the tremendous efforts in the Systematic Voter Education and Electoral Participation Program (SVEEP), has resulted in the registration of more than three lakh new voters in the State.<br />'' <br />'' He said, the number of voters in the age group of 18 to 19 years after the Lok Sabha Election has increased from 3 lakh to 3.82 lakh, which certainly shows the impact of the SVEEP program.<br />''        <br />'' In the Lok Sabha General Election-2019, the total number of voters in the State was 1,80,56,896 and now this number has increased to 1,83,90,525.  The Joint Chief Electoral Officer further informed that the number of women voters has also increased by 1.7 lakh and it is a matter of great pride for democracy as well as society.<br />''          <br />'' He said that during Lok Sabha elections, the number of women voters was 83.36 lakh and now the number has increased to 85.08 lakh. He informed that the number of identified Divyang voters has also increased from 1.04 lakh to 1.38 lakh for this Assembly Elections.<br />''          <br />'' Similarly, in service voters, an increase of 2 thousand has been recorded. In Lok Sabha elections, the number of service voters was 1.05 lakh, which has increased to 1.07 lakh now.<br />'' <br />''He informed that a total of 1169 candidates are in the fray for the Assembly General Elections, out of which there are 1064 male and 105 female candidates.</span><br />
