In Haryana, Japan`s leading two wheeler manufacturer Suzuki motorcycles Limited would set up its second unit in IMT Rohtak. Haryana Government today approved the project in a meeting held at Chandigarh under chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda. A government spokesman said that the unit with a production capacity of 20 lakh motorcycles per year would be set up in 50 acres and Company would invest around 2000 crore rupees in it. He said that the industrial unit would provide employment to around 4000 people. The Managing Director of Maruti Suzuki S. Nakanishi said that the production in the proposed unit would start in 2014.
