Myanmar's democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi has welcomed the elections in Thailand and said the free and fair elections in the neighbouring state is a sign of hope for improved relations between the two countries. She said, she was pleased to see the elections won by a woman. Aung San Suu Kyi also said she was pleased that Thailand will have a government that is democratically elected by its people.
