Myanmar's Opposition leader and Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi today called on Vice President Mohd. Hamid Ansari on the third day of her visit to India. Later in the day, she is scheduled to meet Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar, External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid. Suu Kyi will visit her alma meter, Lady Shriram College in New Delhi tomorrow.

AIR correspondent reports, the pro-democracy leader met Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh yesterday and discussed the process of national reconciliation and democratisation in her country. She also delivered the presitigoius Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Lecture. This is her first visit to the counrty in a quarter century. Kyi is on a five-day visit to India.
