External Affairs Minister S M Krishna today said the only way forward to normalisation of relations with Pakistan will be a sustained dialogue with it. Replying to supplementaries on his visit to Pakistan recently, he informed the Rajya Sabha that any further terror attack on India emanating from Pakistani soil would cause immense harm to the normalisation process between the two countries. He said during his recent visit to Islamabad he has conveyed this message to the Pakistan authorities. The external affairs minister also called for credible and firm action against terror groups and their leaders when he met his Pakistani counterpart. Mr. Krishna informed the House that the Pakistani foreign minister has assured that it will do everything to fulfill the commitment given by Pakistan of not allowing its territory to be used for terrorism against India. He also said there was a broad understanding on a number of other humanitarian issues between the two countries. Mr. Krishna also informed the House that there was uninterrupted dialogue with Pakistan from 2004 till Mumbai attacks.
