The suspense continues over release of two Italian nationals in Odisha.They are captivity of Maoists in Kandhamal district of Odisha . Odhisa government is still undecided on how to react at the proposals put forth by the Maoists. Maoists have given a deadline government till this evening. One of the three interlocutors have declined to mediate on behalf of the Maoists. Human rights activist and senior advocate Biswapriya Kanungo, amongst those appointed as interlocutors by the Maoists, told reporters that he will consider the proposal if both the state government and Maoists wanted him to mediate. Meanwhile, hectic parleys are on at Bhubaneswar with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik monitoring the developments with state chief secretary, home secretary and director general of police.
