Suspected US drone missile kills at least six militants

A suspected US drone missile strike killed at least six militants on Wednesday in the North Waziristan tribal region bordering Afghanistan. It was the third such assault in 24 hours targeting suspected Taliban and al-Queda militants along the Afghan border. A similar strike on late Tuesday hit a Taliban compound in North Waziristan. Analysts believe the area is a stronghold of the Afghan Taliban commander, Jalaluddin Haqqani, blamed for attacks in Afghanistan against the Government and foreign troops.
Hours earlier, another suspected US drone fired two missiles that reportedly struck a Pakistani Taliban commander's house in South Waziristan.
Meanwhile, the BBC Urdu service received a video footage allegedly showing body of Pakistani Taliban leader, Baitullah Mehsood who died in an earlier US missile strike. The video showed minor injuries to the right side of his face.
