In Pakistan, suspected Taliban militants shot dead six persons in the North Waziristan tribal region after accusing them of being U.S. spies. A local tribal leader today said bodies of four executed persons were found along a road near Mir Ali and two other bodies near Miranshash. Locals said the slain men were kidnapped two weeks ago and believed to be killed on late Saturday night.
