<span style="color: #222222;">Arunachal Pradesh Police has arrested a suspected National Socialist Council of Nagaland (U) militant from Naharlagun area. Addressing the media persons the Superintendent of Police (SIT) NS Brar told media persons that underground element identified as Wangchin Wangpan was planning to execute unlawful activities like abduction, extortion and murder in the Capital areas of Naharlagun and Itanagar. He said, the SIT Team raided various locations in Naharlagun Area yesterday and arrested the suspected militant, who is a close aid of self-styled chairman of NSCN(U) Arunachal Unit. Police also seized some live ammunition of various calibres and a hand-grenade.
