In Nagaland, one suspected NSCN (IM) cadre was killed and five others were arrested by the Assam Rifles in Tizit on Thursday. Official sources of Assam Rifles said, the jawans of the Teritorial Army were patrolling in Pongma colony of Mon District when the suspected NSCN (IM) cadres fired upon them. In retaliation the security personnel fired back, killing one cadre on the spot and arrested five others with arms and ammunitions.
