A suspected Naga militant allegedly involved in the killing of a former MP in Arunachal Pradesh was arrested in Manipur. Official sources said today that the activist of National Socialist Council of Nagaland -Isac Muivah (NSCN-IM) identified as Kaping Luikham was nabbed from Imphal area last evening by a team of CBI special crime branch from Kolkata. Luikham was allegedly involved in the killing of the former MP from Arunachal Pradesh, Wangcha in 2007 December and injuring his friend while the two were playing badminton. Luikham was produced before a local court which sent him to CBI custody for seven days.
