In Jharkhand, one suspect Maoist was killed and three policemen injured in an encounter early in the morning today at Titahia Tota of Juri village under Pratappur police station of Chatra district. SP of Chatra told our correspondent that the encounter with the Maoists occurred around 4 in the morning and lasted for nearly half an hour . Three policemen including the Assistant Commandant P R Mishra was also injured in the encounter. The injured have been air- lifted to capital Ranchi for treatment. Large amount of arms and ammunition have been recovered from the scene of encounter. Police is further investigating the incident.
