Suspected LeT operative asked to appear before NIA SP

A man, who is suspected to have links with terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and who was interrogated for over six hours here yesterday by National Investigation Agency (NIA) sleuths, was issued a notice today, asking him to appear before an SP of the agency in New Delhi on December 4.<br/><br/>Akhtar Hussain Khan, who had stayed in Dubai and other places for over a decade, has been roped in as a witness in connection with a November 27 case lodged by the NIA, pertaining to the arrest of an LeT terrorist from Lucknow. The NIA notice, issued under section 160, asked Khan to appear before NIA SP Ajit Singh in Delhi for answering certain questions related to the case.
