A suspected al-Qaeda operative, arrested from east Delhi, was sent to police custody till September 30 by a city court today.<br/><br/>Delhi Police has arrested a suspected al-Qaeda operative from the national capital. The 27 year old suspect was arrested near Vikas Marg yesterday following a tip-off by Delhi Police's Special Cell. <br/><br/>Shauman Haq, 27, was produced before Additional Sessions Judge Sidharth Sharma who handed over his custody to the special cell of Delhi police after the probe agency said he was required for custodial interrogation to unearth the larger conspiracy.<br/><br/>Haq was arrested near Vikas Marg yesterday following a tip-off.<br/><br/>Last month, two men with suspected links to the terror outfit were also arrested in Delhi in two separate cases.
