External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will visit Israel this weekend. Israel's Ambassador to India Daniel Carmon Briefed media persons in New Delhi about Ms Swaraj's first visit to Israel. Mr Carmon said Israel is all set to extend its defence cooperation to India. <br/><br/>He termed the successful test of Barak 8 missile system as a fruit of cooperation and joint research and development. The Ambassador said cooperation in Water Management, Agriculture, Business and in other fields will be extended in due course of time. <br/><br/>Ms Swaraj will be briefed about the prevailing situation in the Middle and West Asia, Mr Carmon added. Ms Swaraj will also visit Palestine during her two day visit, starting from January 17. Her visit follows state visit of President Pranab Mukherjee, who had visited Israel and Palestine in October, 2015.
