The Union Minister for External Affairs and overseas India Affairs, Smt. Sushma Swaraj will inaugurate the Suriname Memorial at the Suriname Jetty from where the Indentured Workers from India used to board the ship for Suriname during the period from 1873 to 1910. High officials and Guests of Honour are expected to be present at function, which will be held in the afternoon in the Suriname Jetty of Kolkata port.
