External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj received high applause from opposition benches in the Lok Sabha today for her efforts to save Indians abroad. During Question Hour, the Aam Aadmi Party MP Bhagwant Maan thanked Ms. Swaraj saying she is doing an exceptionally good job. <br/><br/>He mentioned the action of the minister in a recent incident in which 13 people of Sangroor were made slaves in Saudi Arabia. Mr. Maan said he met ministry officials who acted immediately and all the people and eight others were saved and they finally returned home safely. <br/><br/>Another AAP Parliamentarian Dharamveer Gandhi also hailed the minister and said she has done a lot for the people of Punjab. BJD member also lauded Ms Swaraj saying as a minister, her response has been outstanding. <br/><br/>RJD MP Rajesh Ranjan hailed the minister for her reply in Hindi even though the questions were put in English. On this rare bonhomie, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan wondered whether there is any question other than thanks for Ms. Swaraj.
