Foreign Minister Ms Sushma Swaraj reached Maldives' capital Male Saturday afternoon for a two day long official visit.<br/><br/>Ms Swaraj was received at the Hulhumale airport by her counterpart, Maldivian foreign minister Dhunya Maumoon.Ms Swaraj is visiting Maldives in her official capacity for the first time.<br/><br/>She will co-chair a meeting of the India-Maldives Joint Commission with Dhunya Maumoon.<br/><br/>The joint commission, which is meeting after a gap of 15 years, will focus on cooperation in various sectors such as energy, health, trade and defence.<br/><br/>During her two-day visit, Ms Swaraj will also meet President Abdulla Yameen and other senior government officials.
