External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today met six seamen in New Delhi who have been released from Egypt. In November last year, an Egyptian court had ordered the release of the seamen after clearing them of all charges. Mrs Swaraj during her visit to Egypt in August last year, had urged her counterpart Sameh Hassan Shoukry to intervene for the early release of the seamen detained in the country since February 2014.
