External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has invited the Indian Diaspora to participate in Skill India, Digital India, Namami Ganga and other flagship initiatives of the NDA government.<br/><br/>Speaking at the Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas (PBD) 2016 event in New Delhi Saturday evening, she said through PBD the government is trying to increase participation of the diaspora.<br/><br/>Mrs Swaraj said the government will try to address all concerns of Indian diaspora.<br/><br/>The Minister said, the government fully understands its responsibility to protect its people. She said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's community engagements have taken diaspora contacts to a new level.<br/><br/>She said, in the last 19 months, India has risen to the challenge of emergency relief on four different occasions in Ukraine, Libya, Iraq and Yemen.<br/><br/>The External Affairs Minister requested that Overseas Indians should heed advisories issued by India in times of impending crises.<br/><br/>Mrs Swaraj said Earlier, India lacked job opportunity, but today it has changed and there are newer opportunities to earn and make a good living. She said it is time for the members of Indian diaspora to come back.<br/><br/>The Minister said, PBD will be celebrated the entire year this year and ten topics have been selected, every month one topic will be discussed concerning the diaspora.<br/><br/>Mrs Swaraj said, the new format is keeping in view search for concrete outcomes and discussion in order to address diaspora's concerns.
