External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today flagged off the first batch of Kailash Mansarovar Yatris in New Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Swaraj said the yatra will be tracked and if required medical facilities will be provided. She said the government is committed to ensure successful yatra and extended her best wishes.<br/><br/>The Yatra is organized by the External Affairs Ministry every year between June and September. It is open to eligible Indian citizens, holding valid Indian passports, who wish to proceed to Kailash-Manasarovar for religious purposes. The Yatra is planned during the period 11 June to 9th of September through Lipulekh and Nathu La.
