External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has charged the opposition with making baseless and untrue allegations that she had helped the former IPL boss Lalit Modi to travel abroad. Making a statement in the Rajya Sabha today amidst noisy protests from Congress members, who trooped into the well, Mrs. Swaraj said that she had never requested the British government for arranging travel documents to Lalit Modi. She alleged that she was not allowed to make a statement in this regard in the House for the last two weeks. As noisy scenes continued, Deputy Chairman Prof. P J Kurien adjourned the House for 40 minutes till Noon.<br/><br/>
