External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has called for coordination between India and Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) on global issues like terrorism, Climate Change and UN Security Council Reform. <br/><br/>Addressing the CELAC Quartet Ministerial Meeting with Foreign Ministers of Ecuador, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic and Barbados in New York, Ms Swaraj called upon the member countries to boost co-operation in energy, Science and Technology, health care and agro-chemicals among others. She also met the Foreign Minister of Maldives and Venezuela.<br/><br/>Earlier, India hosted the meeting of Caribbean Community and Common Market (CARICOM) countries. Ms Swaraj called for cooperation with CARICOM on text based negotiations for UN Security Council Reform. She also offered assistance to Caribbean countries in capacity building, IT, agriculture, pharmaceutical, SMEs and other areas.<br/><br/>The External Affairs Minister also participated in the SAARC Foreign Ministers meet over a luncheon hosted by Nepal.<br/>'<br/>Click here to Reply or Forward
