Battle lines for the semi finals of the 31st Surjit Hockey Tournament in men section and finals in the women section have been drawn. The holders Punjab & Sind Bank, Delhi and Punjab XI, Pakistan defeated their rivals yesterday to secure their berths in the semi-finals to be played at the Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium in Jalandhar, tomorrow.The bankers and CAG, Delhi were drawn with 3 each and earned one point each. Pakistan XI defeated ONGC, Delhi by 3-1 during last evening matches. Now, Punajb & Sind bank will take on Army XI and Pakistan team will face Indian Oil Mumbai in the semifinals tomorrow. Our correspondent reports that the women section final will be played this evening between Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala and Haryana XI.
