Union Railway Minister Mr. Suresh Prabhu today inaugurated 13 services for Mumbai suburban rail services. The key facilities launched today included of fast rail wire Wi-Fi facility at Kalyan, Kurla, Dadar, Bandra, Churchgate and Khar Road railway station. He also inaugrated a Bio toilet for differently abled at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. <br/><br/>In addition to these, the Railway Minister along with Union social justice and Empowerment Minister Mr. Ramdas Athwale also dedicated 12 Car EMU services on Harbour Line, and eight Foot Over bridges at Vasai, Nalasopara, Karjat, Shahad, Kurla, King's Circle, Reay Road, Chembur. Besides, the Minister also threw open to the public new escalators at Vasai and Nalasopara stations and two lifts at Andheri station two new 12 car platforms for Harbour Line. <br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion, the Railway Minister has said that the railway has set up a target of providing Wi-Fi facility at 100 stations by the end of the year. He stated that the wifi facility would prove very useful for the regular commuters in Mumbai. Mumbai mayor Snehal Ambekar, Mumbai BJP President Ashish Shelar, and Shivsena Thane MP Rajan Vichare also joined the occasion.
