Former Union Minister and Rajya Sabha Member, Suresh Prabhu today accused the Opposition of misleading people on the Citizenship Amendment Act and asserted that no one would lose their citizenship. <br />'' <br />'' Addressing Samalochana in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh today, an Awareness Programme on Citizenship Amendment Act-2019, Mr Prabhu said, Congress has been instigating people for creating an anarchic situation in the country. He said the opposition party has become intolerant after being repeatedly rejected by the people. <br />'' <br />'' Mr Prabhu also appealed the people of Andhra pradesh not to get carried away with the misleading campaign by the opposition parties against the CAA. He clarified that the CAA would accord citizenship to people and not snatch it from anyone. <br />'' <br />'' Suresh Prabhu said the new law is relevant only for Hindu, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist, Parsi and Christian foreigners who have migrated from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan to India up to December 31, 2014, on account of persecution faced by them due to their religion.<br />''
