The Supreme Court will take up the hearing of the Kerala Love Jihad case today. The 24-year old Kerala woman, Hadiya alias Akhila, is scheduled make a statement in person before the court on whether she was converted to Islam and married to a Muslim man forcefully. <br/><br/>Ahead of the hearing, Hadiya had told media in Kochi that she was never forced to convert and her decision to become a Muslim was taken on free will. She also said that she wants to live with her husband Shafin Jahan. <br/>The case came under the apex court's focus when Hadiya's husband moved it against a Kerala High Court order which had annulled the marriage and let her into the custody of her father. The apex court had in August directed the National Investigation Agency to probe the case.
