The Supreme Court has dismissed a petition challenging the nomination of UPA candidate Pranab Mukherjee for the Presidential election. While dismissing the PIL, a bench comprising justices Aftab Alam and HL Gokhale described it as frivolous. In his PIL, the petitioner had contended that as Union Finance Minister, Mr Mukherjee failed to unearth massive black money in foreign tax havens.
