The Supreme Court has directed the Centre to file a status report on the probe conducted by Enforcement Directorate officer, Rajeshwar Singh in the Aircel-Maxis deal case. <br/><br/>The apex court said yesterday that it should be apprised about the stage of the pending investigation and what needs to be done in it.<br/>Appearing for the CBI, additional Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, sought ten days time to file a summary report in this regard.<br/> '<br/>The apex court in November last year, had restrained the government from taking any immediate action against Rajeshwar Singh, following some anonymous complaints against him.
