<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The Supreme Court has asked the Centre to ascertain the number of deaths of tigers in the country in the recent past. A Bench headed by Justice KM Joseph passed the direction while hearing a plea that sought to relocate human settlements from reserve forests to save the tiger population in the country. Justice BV Nagarathna, also part of the Bench said, she came across a newspaper report recently about death of many tigers.
