In Bihar, supporters of slain Chief of the erstwhile out lawed Ranvir Sena have damaged private and public property in Patna today. Our Patna correspondent reports that they unleashed violence in the state capital taking the administration by surprise. The incidents took place during the funeral procession of Brahmeshwar Singh alias Mukhia who was shot dead by unidentified miscreants at Ara yesterday. The angry protestors torched atleast one dozen private vehicles. They include a police vehicle and some other government vehicles near Raj Bhavan and Chief Minster's residence. The last rites of Mukhia are being performed at the banks of river Ganga later this evening.Meanwhile Union Home Secretary R. K. Singh has said that the killing of Brahmeshwar Mukhiya, is a cause of concern and the Bihar government is capable of dealing with it.Talking to reporters in Patna, Mr.Singh ruled out any intervention by the centre in the matter. He said the centre is keeping a close eye on the situation in the wake of violent protest after the killing.
