The supplementary demand for grants third batch for 2016-17 tabled by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in the Lok Sabha today sought Parliament approval for additional expenditure of nearly 11 lakh 35 thousand crore rupees. Of this the proposals involving net cash outgo aggregate to 14,786.85 crore rupees gross additional expenditure matched by savings of the ministries and departments and recoveries aggregates to 11 lakh 20 thousand 267 crore rupees.<br/><br/>Mr Jaitely said besides token provision of 140 lakh rupees is being sought, one lakh for each item of expenditure for enabling reappropriation of savings in cases involving New Service or New Instrument of Service.
