Super Kings beat Wayamba Eleven by 97 runs

The Chennai Super Kings beat Wayamba Elevens of Sri Lanka by 97 runs in a Group – A match of the Champions League Twenty20 Cricket tournament at Centurian in South Africa on Wednesday. With two victories out of as many matches in Group A, Chennai has inched a step closer towards the semifinal race. Suresh Raina scored a blistering 44-ball 87 while Murali Vijay made 68 to enable Chennai post a formidable total of 200 for three. Batting first, Raina and Vijay shared a 137-run second wicket stand that came-off just 72 deliveries. Chasing the huge target, Wayamba were bundled out for 103 in 17.1 overs. In today's encounter, Mumbai Indians will take on Guyana at Durban.
