Sunil Gavaskar says, his priority is to ensure corruption & controversy free IPL season 7

The BCCI-IPL Interim President Sunil Gavaskar has said that his priority is to ensure a corruption and controversy free Indian Premier League season 7, which gets underway in UAE on 16th of this month. At a pre-tournament press conference in Dubai today, he said the anti-corruption units of BCCI, ICC and the Emirates Cricket Board are working in tandem to ensure the sanctity of the game. Gavaskar expressed satisfaction at the quality of pitches and the practice facilities for the players at stadiums in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah and said it is conducive for world class cricket.All participating teams will be arriving in UAE in the second week of April for the opening leg of the IPL Season 7 which gets underway on April 16 at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. 20 matches will be played during April 16-30 at the stadiums in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. Each team will play at least one match at each city. In the opening match the defending champions Mumbai Indians will take on the former champions Kolkata Night Riders in Abu Dhabi on April 16.
