Delhi Police has issued notice to the former Union Minister Shashi Tharoor in connection with the Sunanda Pushkar death case. Delhi Police Commissioner told reporters that a notice has been issued to Mr Tharoor for questioning. He said, the Special Investigation Team constituted to probe the case may question Mr Tharoor in a day or two.

Earlier, in reply to question Mr Bassi said that all those people relevant in the case are being examined by the SIT in connection with Sunanda's death. He said, the police want to proceed as fast as possible in the case and its intention is to quickly finish questioning all the people related to the case.

AIR correspondent reports that Sunanda, the wife of Shahsi Tharoor was found dead in a mysterious circumstances at a hotel in Delhi in January last year.
