Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan will host a grand lunch for MPs from both Houses of Parliament today on the occasion of Indian New Year's festivals. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and most Union Ministers are expected to attend the same. <br/><br/>Officials, security personnel and employees of both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Secretariats and media persons will also attend the lunch which will be hosted at the lawn of the Parliament House. <br/><br/>An estimated 6000 people are expected to attend the lunch. Those on Navratri fast can partake specially-made dishes. It is for the first time that Ms Mahajan is hosting a lunch on such a scale in the Parliament premises.
