Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan today distributed footballs to MPs in Parliament premises to promote it across the country in view of U17 FIFA world cup 2017 to be held in India in October this year. <br/><br/>Later, talking to media outside Parliament, Sports Minister Vijay Goel said, U17 tournament will be an opportunity to showcase India throughout the world. Mr Goel said, it is high time to start a revolution in Indian sport and create a sporting culture through football. <br/><br/>The Minister suggested the MPs that as a public representative they may help in spreading the message to popularize the football game. He said, MPs can help in organizing football tournaments at village, block and district level.
