India today entered the final of the Sultan of Johor Cup Hockey Tournament in Johor Baru, Malaysia, defeating New Zealand 3-1. This was India's fourth match of the tournament of which they have won three games and drawn one. India now tops the table with 10 points. In other action at the Taman Daya Hockey Stadium today, Germany beat Australia 2-0. With this second consecutive victory, there is possibility of Germany also reaching the final of the tournament. Although both Australia and Germany have 6 points each on the table, yet Germany tops the table on account of better goal difference.
