The rain delayed league match between India and hosts Malaysia in the Azlan Shah Hockey tournament being played at Ipoh started a shortwhile ago. Both teams were tied 1-1 till half time. The hosts took the lead but India equalised quickly. With one draw and a loss in their kitty, India are placed fourth, a rung above Malaysia, in the six-team tournament. A win will keep India in contention for a top-two finish in points table. The Indian team played a draw with Korea in their first match, while in their second encounter India lost 1-2 to New Zealand. The hosts have lost both their matches.
