The opening match of Sultan Azlan Shah Cup Men's Hockey tournament in Ipoh – Malaysia between India and Great Britain ended in a 2-2 draw. Till the third quarter, the two teams were levelled at 1-1. The start of the match was delayed due to bad weather conditions. In other matches today, New Zealand will take on Australia, while Malaysia will meet Japan. Australia are the defending champions, while India had finished runners up last year.Six nations – India, Malaysia, Australia, Great Britain, Japan and New Zealand – are taking part in the 8-day tournament which will be held in a round-robin format. Pakistan is not playing in the competition this year.
