India will take on defending champions New Zealand in Sultan Azlan Shah Cup hockey tournament at Ipoh in Malaysia today. Yesterday, India thrashed Pakistan 5-1 in a round-robin league match of the tournament. The highlight of the match was four fantastic field goals from India while the other came from a penalty corner conversion. While SV Sunil scored two goals, Manpreet Singh, Talwinder Singh and Rupinde Pal Singh scored one each. For Pakistan, skipper Muhammad Irfan converted a penalty corner into a goal. In its four matches so far, India has won three games beating Canada, Japan and Pakistan but lost to Australia.
