Sukhoi-30 MKI crashes near Pune, pilots bail out safely

A Sukhoi-30 MKI fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed soon after taking off from Lohegaon airbase near Pune at around 1.00 hours today.

However, both the pilots managed to bail out safely. According to the IAF spokesperson Wing Commander V. M. Lal, the primary cause seems to be a technical snag. The investigations are on at the site. No casualty has been occurred as it crashed at open land.
