Suicide bombing near Indian embassy in Kabul; 10 killed, 20 injured

In Afghanistan, at least 10 people were killed and over 20 injured in a suicide car bomb explosion near Indian embassy in Kabul on Thursdays morning. No Indian national has been reported to be hurt so far. The suicide bomber was targeting to enter the embassy but was stopped at the gate and exploded himself. One United Nations vehicle was damaged in the blast. Windows in surrounding shops were shattered. This is the second targeting of Indian embassy after the last year blast in July which killed more than 50 people including four Indian nationals. No body has claimed responsibility for the attack so far but militant groups supported from Pakistan have been held responsible for such attacks in the past.
