In Afghanistan, two civilians were killed and 77 International Security Assistance Force soldiers were wounded when a suicide bomber rammed a truck full of firewood into NATO military base in central Wardak province last evening. 22 Afghan civilians were also injured in the incident. The International Joint Command in Kabul today said the attack destroyed the outer wall of the military compound. Our Kabul correspondent reports that the attack came on the eve of the tenth anniversary of the nine-eleven terror attacks. Security has been tightened throughout Afghanistan.
