In Afghanistan, 13 people were killed and 50 injured in a suicide bomb attack on a road construction company in restive province of Paktika bodering Pakistan. A spokesman for the provincial governor, Mokhles Afghan said on Monday that the attacker rammed a truck laden with explosives into an office building. He said, all the casualties worked for the company. He said that engineers, construction workers and security guards were among those killed in the blast in Paktika's Barmal district troubled by Taliban militancy. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack that took place on Sunday.
